Something worth raising.

I’m a second-generation winemaker in Truro, Nova Scotia. In my family, a good drink has always belonged beside good food and good company.

When my wife, Brittany, was pregnant with our first daughter, Sunday dinner changed. Everyone else had something interesting in their glass, and she had water. The non-alcoholic options we could find were compromises at best, and she felt left out of the very thing that brought us all to the table.

So I did what winemakers do. I started experimenting, working on flavour and balance until the drink in her hand tasted like it belonged there. That became Elix. Brittany loved it, her friends started asking for it, and soon there was enough demand to share it with our communities.

Elix is for the nights you’d rather not drink, and still want something worth raising.
