I am a second-generation winemaker in Truro, Nova Scotia. My family has always appreciated drinks as a complement to food and company.
When my wife, Brittany, became pregnant with our first daughter, she suddenly felt left out. Sunday dinner just wasn’t the same with a glass of water, especially when everyone else had something interesting to enjoy. And the non-alcoholic options available were compromises at best.
I started experimenting with different non-alcoholic formulations. Elix was the result of that experimentation. Brittany loved it, so did her friends, and before we knew it there was enough demand to share it with our local communities.
